a little of this

these are a few pics of a couple of purses I made for Christmas presents.... I love sewing.. I love having that creative outlet where I take some fabric and shape it into something! I would love to tone and perfect them.... sell them one day even.... but that is one day!
the one above needs a better handle but I used only fabrics that I already had.... Christmas on a budget can get creative!

this is just a few pics of the weather here! my chair in the back yard below and the swings above...all getting buried under the weather.... but they are still there with the promise of seeing someone sit in them again with green grass below and the sun shining above. Not to be too cliche but totally the season of life we go through.... we know it's a season and because there are different seasons we know that this one will pass.... that is a promise and something to look forward too. Already the snow is beginning to melt... I am sure that we are not over with winter yet but hearing the birds chirping again in the mornings means Spring is definitely on it's way and a promise of change with it.

Heh...the novel is called The Shack..it's Christian...and if you're wanting something to help with conflict at PAC's and at work, try a book called Crucial Conversations...can't remember the authors but you'll find in the leadership/management section of Chapters..in fact, there are alot of good books on leadership and conflictual conversations in that section that you may find helpful for work...

Just prayed that God will pour in and through you, His wisdom, understanding and peace during the PAC meeting...

Those purses are beautiful!!!

I can NOT believe that snow!!! I know this sounds crazy - but I would kill to experience snow like that just once in my life. I think we had one snowstorm close to that when I lived in Oklahoma City and was in junior high.. but I didn't appreciate it. I want to have that with Faith!!
