Finally Paying it Forward

A little while ago now I was awarded my first ever blog award. Kirsten at Mama's so called life gave me the honors. It was the "Thinking Blogger Award" and I still cannot for the life of me get the cute little button over here.....ugh! The idea is once awarded to pay it forward to 5 blogs that make me think.....now this is the tough part. Normally I hate the thought that I have left anyone out but I will pick 5 out of the several bloggers that I read and please know that I love all my blogger friends and just am playing by the rules here! yah I can follow rules ...... sometimes!!!!

first I award my previous pastor........who always makes me think....who challenges me all the time and loves me too much to leave me the way that I am. She helped to usher so much healing into my life which really changed me and my marriage and my relationships. I love her and admire her so much. She is a little fire ball who's love for the Lord inspires me and encourages me to keep going. She is a great teacher prophetess speaker of life and friend. She is super mom. And I get to spend the weekend with her in 3 sleeps!!!

second I award my friend who I have known my entire life. We might as well be sisters! She introduced me to blogging and my hubby forever thanks her.....NOT.....hehe. Seriously she is an inspiration of strength and beauty and a testimony to God's goodness. She is a survivor and an encourager and thinks outside the box and gets you to do the same. She is a leader of worship unlike most. She is talented and a true friend. She is a blessing and a confidante. She is my forever friend Xangelle.

third I award my cousin who I respect and admire. There are not many people you can have such a stimulating conversation with as her! She is a survivor and full of Grace! She is a teacher and is full of wisdom. She is eager to share her love of our Lord and has the eloquence to do it. She is thought provoking and a hoot to spend an evening with. She is comfortable and a joy to call family. She is Mugwumpmom.

fourth I award my sister cuz otherwise I know she will be sitting there saying what about me??? hehehehahaha...... I am so silly. We were the best of friends growing up and then in our teenage years we grew apart and I wondered if we would ever be friends again. I am so glad to say that we are. She is the prodigal son story in living flesh and a testimony to knowing that His plans for us are far greater than what ours could ever be. She is a lover of the Word and a teacher of it. She loves hard and laughs hard and shops harder.... hehe She is Shasher.

my last award is harder as the previous are all people I know personally...not just thru the blog world. This one goes to someone I have met not so long ago and I have come to admire greatly. You know how you read someones blog and you get a sense of connection with them and just a yup they are my kind of people feeling??? well she is one of them. She is a writer and a pastor. She is strong and she is funny. She is inspiring and I am so glad that thru this unique world of blogging that I came across her and our paths met and we will get to spend eternity getting to know each other more! She is Nadine.

and SOME BIG NEWS...... J was at the Neurologist today in Van. and she told him that his nerve fibers are healing!!! YAHHHHH that's about the best news one can hear! she said that she is not sure how long it will take but he should be back at the same strength he was a year ago! we still need to set ourselves up work wise for him in a wise way as he is still labeled Chronic BUT it is going into remission........so thank you thank you for all your prayers! we are so thankful and that is putting it mildly!

ok well I have forever laundry to fold and I am soooo tired.... I went for a long walk with Sandra tonight (45 minute walk) and we signed up for Ladies Soccer!! yup that's right out of shape old me has joined soccer..... ain't that goina be a site??!!

WOW!!!! That is soo awesome about J! God is good..faithful and always good. Supermom said something to me today that really rung true...if we can't earn God's love, favour and grace by being good then why do we think we can loose it by being bad? Isn't that just sooo wise and true?! God's love, grace and favour remain on you both and this will work together for the good...I'm doing cartwheels on my bed...in my mind...as I celebrate this great news with you.

Oh, yeah, and thank you for the pay it forward...boy today was a real feel special "Mugwumpmom world" kind of day...was at home group at Supermom's tonight and they all just lavished me with so much love and prayer for J and I and my career change and now you lavish me with this award...can't you just see the eunuchs feeding me grapes and waving palm leaves over my head????
I love you!!

Lala I don't know what to say. Your kind words touch me very much. Congratulations on the award you received, but I had received this award before for both the book and regular blog. I haven't paid it forward because there are too many people in our church that blog and my heart is not to hurt any of them by "not picking" them. As a pastor's wife my words and actions have weight. So thank you again for your high praise.

I have enjoyed getting to know you also through your blog. I am so thrilled for you and J...what great news. I rejoice with you both that prayers are being answered and he is being healed. AMEN!!!! Lord I pray you bring what you have started to completion quickly.
