Perspective

I know 2 days in a row of deep thoughts from lala!!......who knew it was possible!! hehe

I had this idea a while back and thought with the sun coming up this morning now was perfect. I thought it would be a good picture analogy to take pictures while standing in the same spot, just turning on that spot. See what you get? a completely different perspective! it's life.

My sisters and I are all different ( I have 3 older sisters). We all have different perspectives on life and events that took place in our lives. Ever watch a movie and loved it but your best friend hated it? I think you see where I am getting at. I have 4 daughters, there is 8 years difference between the oldest and the youngest, they are all so different. The oldest, she is almost 13 and almost as tall as me GULP, and her perspective is so different then the 2nd. Sometimes it is hard to know how to handle them and understanding their perspectives, cuz mine will be different too. As the mom it is my responsibilty to teach them that as long as they are rooted in the Word and on the Rock, then no matter which direction your eyes happen to be looking, your feet are where they are supposed to be.

So there I went outside in the -10 crisp morning air, stood in the same spot and looked at the same thing, my backyard, and got 6 completely different perspectives. So does it matter what your perspective is as long as you are standing in the right place? don't we need all the perspectives to get the whole picture?

I think this same principal is with the body of Christ. A friend of mine wrote a post about church and how some people in it tend to think they are right in their thinking because they simply attend. It is so sad that the institution of "church" have let so many people down. The problem is people looking at people for their guidance and leadership completely without seeking the source of our freedom.

There are all sorts of books out there written by Christians attacking other Christians.........to me, in my perspective, that is crazy. Are we not called to build the body up? not tear it down? No wonder the world looks at us and calls us hypocrites, we can be! I was raised in a Word Faith home. So many hear the Word Faith name and say, oh name it and claim it, believing for an airplane are ya???? believe me I have heard it all! My dad is a pillar of Faith. He has incredible Faith and has been judged because of it.

My perspective is we all have been given different measures of Faith, it is up to us to develop that Faith in our walk. We are all at different places on that journey and we can draw from the strength of those around us who are stronger in the areas that we are not. I have lived through 6 miscarriages, so I have a large dose of Faith when it comes to believing that He gives you the desires of your heart, even when the doctors tell you that you should give up! We all have lived different lives, even in the same family, our experiences are not the same.

We have different perspectives. Our different perspectives can help each other along, build each other up and help the world to see Him.

I loved this article. I had a similar one called "Cup of Tea." I believe it would bless the heart of God if we all were unified in our love for Him. It doesn't matter what church we go to - it just matters that we go and that we love the Lord and we love each other.

From my perspective it looks cold and crisp up there is the Far North where the Cheeseheads sometimes freeze.
Remember my saying "What is TRUE can never change the TRUTH, however the TRUTH can always change what is TRUE" So say what lines up with the TRUTH - no matter what and by faith you will see circumstances change.
Love ya allllllllllllll up there

It is like the story of the blind men touching different parts of the elephant and each being right and each being wrong. The beauty of being a child of God is that each of need the other and when we put each perspective together, we see more of who He is and what He is doing in a situation.

Sleep well tonight!
