Spoiled Alert

ok anyone who knows me knows.....that I am spoiled....and hey deservedly so! have you met me?!! ok being a bit of a goof ball but when it comes to J buying me presents I am definitely spoiled.....I usually get what I ask for. This year at the top of my list was the coffee maker below....I LOVE IT! I saw them at Home Hardware on Salt Spring Island over a year ago and fell in love.....I have been coveting them ever since....however they are on the pricey end and so have never bought it! they also have blenders, mixers, toasters and hand mixers..........ya no big surprise here....I want them all! I thought they were kitchen aide at first...those are even more expensive. This is Hamilton Beach electrics. The coffee maker was $119.99!!! wowsers! when I opened what I thought was this coffee maker on Christmas Eve and found it was a coffee maker from Costco...it was hard not to hide my disappointment. He was trying to be good and stick to our budget for each other and saw the price of these coffee makers and thought if he bought me a cheaper one he could buy me more gifts. He ended up buying me pj's, socks, underwear, a nighty, calvin kleine perfume, barenaked ladies cd, diana krawl cd, body shop stuff, a jean skirt, 2 sweaters that I had to take back cuz they were too small :( so I exchanged them for 3 cool t-shirts (1 has Linus from Charlie Brown on it!) and sweats for the gym and socks, 1 cream light jacket, 1 fleece sweater jacket and 2 pull over turtle neck sweaters.....oops and I almost forgot a complete art set with easel and oil/acrylic/watercolor paints/pastels/watercolor pencil crayons/sketching pencils/art paper pads/canvas all in a nice wooden box! how could I forget that!!!........see I am spoiled! so today we took the coffee maker back to Costco and headed over to Home Hardware to buy my coveted retro looking $119.99 coffee maker! I explained to him that I know I don't NEED it.....but I really WANTED it! and I would never spend that kind of $ any other time of year! so I have it, I was almost giddy, who knew a coffee maker could make this spoiled little girl so happy?

it is all foggy cuz I was running water thru first before I made coffee.....oh and it's ready!!

It's good to know that some things never change... ;-) hahaha (laugh with me it was quite funny!!)

No really, it's a cool colour, I'm really fond of the pink set - which is really wierd cause I'm so not a pink girl. You'd automatically think red for me wouldn't ya but no, the pink kitchen aid does it for me...

You know what you like and you know quality, that's impressive.

I love the new coffee maker and the color is sooooo Martha Stewart -ish!

I think you deserve the coffee pot. You're one of the sweetest, most thoughtful people I know (in blogland) and I can't imagine that's any different in the real world. You deserve a treat!!
